Yours truly enjoying myself in a fire hydrant on my block. It's fucking hot here and this felt SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! Gotta run, goin' back for more!

Gettin' real and movin' the dominos to the streets, yo! The games are gettin' tough. Respect.

As if today couldn't get any better.... Ryan(photo of skinned knee, not showing sore jaw and fucked back) and I were minding our own business and walking down the street to hear "Hey white guy". Then faster than you can say MAN DOWN Ryan was thrown to the ground by three guys and then I was promptly thrown down as well. Kick duck and roll, kick duck and roll, and run across the street. They apparently didn't want any money but just wanted to prove they were tuff. Way to go boys! Thanks for the thrills. Welcome to Bed-Stuy!

So you might ask yourself what I got a ticket for. Was it because I was selling crack to local school kids, was I selling coke out of a local bar, maybe a double homicide, or maybe performing inappropriate conduct on the subway, perhaps building a large structure without a permit??? OH NO NO! Ladies and gentleman I was, now sit down for this one.... RIDING MY BIKE ON THE SIDEWALK! That's right, driving on a sidewalk for LESS THAN 10 FEET and the motherfucking paddy wagon pulls up in front of me and cuts me off all the while they are going down A ONE WAY STREET TWO BLOCKS to give me a ticket. There were about 8 rookies in the police van and two of them came to give me a ticket. OK, moving on... now I can pay my fine and move along and accept that I was in the wrong..... OH BUT NO NO!! I have a court summons that I have to appear at so there isn't a WARRANT OUT FOR MY ARREST!!!!! Way to go Bed-Stuy police, keeping the neighborhood safe!

A friend got this in Chinatown and I spotted it on their coffee table. It made me laugh.

The weather has been crazy recently, but the men and women of the flavored ice brigade are coming out in full force. I tried coconut recently and really liked it!

Found this one at a stop sign, it's made out of steel and I like it! Too bad you can't tell what it is in the photo. It's several skulls all welded together. Look close.

Wow. A week under water. I get prun hands after standing in the shower for 30 minutes. I like him.

This is a photo of a photo that I shot for the cover of the New York Press. This issue sticks around until this Wednesday.

I've been super busy lately and not blogging, but now I'm back and I've got some good photos to share with you in the next few days....stay tuned.

I was just reading a paper that came in the mail called Brooklyn!! Where New York Begins. There was an article that says that they will be installing this sign soon. It's the same as this sign that I blogged about earlier. I love it. Only in Brooklyn!

Last night I went to a party inside this old brownstone that was a frat house. It was really interesting.

Except this time it's missing a wheel! Maybe it's a convertible? Last time I saw the one for sale I asked how much it was, and they said $700. How much is the two wheel version I wonder?

Yesterday I went to the immigration protest over at City Hall in Manhattan. This was one of the most beautiful things that I have seen in a long time. The most amazing thing was that a huge majority of the people were waving American flags. I was expecting to see other countries flags but they were in limited amounts. I'm sure that the majority of them couldn't even vote but they were exercising constitutional rights that make this country great. I wish them the best of luck.

These kids were pretty good. After I got a cup of coffee and was enjoying a beautiful Sunday I went and listened to them practice in a church parking lot. They were pretty good.

It might be a fixer-upper, but look how cool it could be! Anyone wanna buy it with me?

Hot wing night went off with out a hitch! Ashley, Dave, Farhad, Melissa, Naomi, Riff, Rob and myself all ate hot wings and were drunk and merry. A night truly to be remembered. Only in Brooklyn.

I spotted this sign recently at the end of the platform waiting for the L train. This is the very first train to be run by computers in NYC. Little bit weird if you ask me.

I saw this ad and laughed my ass off. In the wake of Wal-Mart deciding to sell Brokeback Mountain this seemed appropriate. This ad is for a mini-storage place.

Only a block away from my house and I spot this jem. Not sure how much it was selling for but I figure it would last for 2 seconds if I owned it. Way too cool for my school.

Looks good from the side too! The spare tire in the back is a nice touch.

Today I went to the Brooklyn Museum and saw William Wegman and was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea that he did things other than photographing dogs. He has some amazing paintings that incorporate postcards from the past. This is one of them, titled "What's with your new grandchild?"

It was a spring day and I went to see Pospect Park and this is the long meadow. Such a nice day.

Hanging around, waiting to fall to the ground and rot is the motto of many a Cali avocado. Should be criminal.

The status of Brooklyn Fix is that we are headed to San Diego for a photo shoot. Look for sporadic updates from the land of sun for the next 6 days. I'll miss you Brooklyn!

Apparently this one goes after gay guys. Kinda a Brokeback Billy the Kid! Saw this in a bar.

One of my favorite things about the ads and posters in the subways is that people screw with them, and the outcome is very funny. I'm starting to document all the funny ones, and I'll post them here.
