the winner!

It was a dog eat dog competition, but this one took the milk bone! He was dressed as a flying monkey form The Wizard of Oz, complete with little hat and real feathers for wings. The funny part was that the dog actually seemed to like the costume ans was truly happy to win. So strange.

singing like stars

This was the most god damn funny gallery installation that I have ever seen. The photo isn't that great, but this was 30 TV screens with people standing in front of the same background all singing the same song. They were all singing along to, via ear pieces with the music piped in, different popular Madonna songs. You could clearly hear all their voices, it sounded like some type of American Idol choir, and to watch their body movements and facial expressions was priceless! In another room was bigger flat screens that had about 15 other people all singing along to Michael Jackson songs.

Reflections in Liechtenstein

This was a show of Roy Liechtenstein's s 3 Dimensional sculptures. They were AWESOME! The reflection in the mirror is of yours truly.

I wish that I had gotten some info on this artist, but I forgot. Damn. This was seen in a gallery in Chelsea.

sculptures part 2

All of these were about 3 feet tall. The one in the foreground had a face that was a round reflective ball, just like the one found in gardens.

movin' on up

This is the apartment building that is going up right next to my house. Now they are bringing out the big guns. It seems that they will never finish building it.
