They claim that it will be turned on by Monday. I'm not holding my breath, we'll just have to see. Verizon Online=crap service!

Sputnik art show

This past weekend I was in a group political art show called Don't Vote For Me. This image is during set up. I haven't been bloging much lately because I STILL DON'T HAVE THE INTERNET AND I'M GONNA FREAK OUT. Verizon Online sucks big time! More on that later. Also, it's so cold outside. I find myself looking down a lot to avoid the wind and this greatly reduces anything interesting to photograph. Cold + no internet = boring blog. In the words of Verizon, "our technicians are aware of the problem and are currently working on a solution."

When they paint underground in the subway stations they put up these wet paint signs. More often than not they are usually rearranged in clever ways. This is one example, I'll blog more of them in the future.

Used like a diaper and then thrown out. All of the trees in New York are flocking to the streets in droves. I still have no internet access, so updates are still sparse. Hopefully this will be remedied by Monday.

brighton beach aka little russia by the sea

I went to Brighton Beach the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Most things were Russian and there was tons of interesting looking food. This shot is from inside a local market.
